Hello, my name is Jason Neeson and I am the owner of Planet Dublin Tours.
Most of my extended family are all living in Dublin and we can link our family bloodline back into the 1780’s living in Dublin! So you could say that I am a real Dubliner.
From a young age I had a interest in history, especially Irish history and one of my passions is travelling and holidaying in Ireland. There is no other country that has amazing landscapes, lush green fields, rolling hills, stunning scenery, a mesmerising coastline and friendly people.
After many different employment avenues I decided to get involved within the tourism industry in Ireland to share my love for this country that I am lucky enough to call home.
It has been the best decision I have ever made and so rewarding to me but the best part of this industry is meeting people from all over the world, just like you.
In 2015 I returned to adult education and studied Irish History and Tourism and was hooked straight away and every spare minute I got, I was reading or researching events or historical moments. In 2019, after many year of studying I received a diploma in Irish History and Irish Tourism.
For most of my adult life I have been self employed so I combined my education qualifications and my love for Ireland and set up my tour guiding company.
Dublin is an amazing location and it has so much to offer and is also surrounded by stunning scenery and lush countryside. If I am not tour guiding, I am either visiting a new location or visiting a new attraction. There really is so much to do and see that I haven’t seen everything yet and I live here!
My most popular tour is The Panoramic Dublin City Tour. My tours are for everyone – Dubliners, “staycationers” and tourists. Each tour was created for small groups who want to have fun and spend some quality time together. The vehicles that I use have capacity for up to 7 people per tour.
