Glendalough and Powerscourt is a must see! Highly recommend!Posted on Tripadvisor JennVerified Planet Dublin Tour with Jason -- an Irish gem We are a family of seven with kids from ages 11 to 17 and this tour made the top-two best memories list for everyone, young and old. Jason picked us up at our hotel on our first morning in Dublin and it was the perfect way to start our Ireland trip. He weaved stories from Ireland's past in with his own personal experiences of growing up in Dublin to paint us a lasting impression of Irish culture and history with themes that recurred throughout our entire trip. Jay is professional and engaging and there were many details and unexpected bonuses that made him a great host and guide. I hope we someday get the chance to book another tour with Jason!Posted on Tripadvisor Justo ElorduyVerified Great visit to Dublin This was a shore excursion set up with James, our guide and he picked us up just outside the tender port of our crusie, no problem getting to him. James was a incredible guide. He took us around the city, an incredible Dublin to be seen and appreciated. His knowldage of the place is very good. History and actual facts included. But one thing is for sure. He offered the 6 hour tour... we should have opted for that. To much to be seen around. I know it sounds to much, but time will fly with all to be seen.Posted on Tripadvisor Travln-DawgVerified Guide-Driver in Ireland Jason Neeson (AKA Jay) was the driver guide for two components of our trip to Ireland on a personal tour arranged through Firebird Tours. Jay took us from Dublin to Galway. He is knowledgeable, entertaining, and fun. He had his own amplification system in his van soe we could hear his commentary clearly. We had requested additional stops for our trip. He not only made those but added one on his own. When we stopped at Sean's Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland, he arranged for us to meet and talk with the owner. Jay was our transport from Cork to south Dublin by way of Waterford. Again he was great and added stops in Waterford to learn about their Viking heritage and then set us up to do an outdoor chess match and a visit to a local museum. We have encouraged him to create his own travel book for Ireland as he was a super source for information.
EXCELLENT Based on 39 reviews Posted on Google Daniel LoesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our family had a delightful all-day tour to Newgrange, Hill of Tara, and Hill of Slane with Jason Neeson. We are so happy we booked this private tour with Planet Dublin Tours. Jason has a wonderful vibe, a fund of knowledge, and a gift for storytelling. We learned many things, from ancient Celtic gods (the Irish fairies) to current Irish music. Our tour was both educational and entertaining. We hope to use Jason next time we visit Ireland.Posted on Google Joe CarrollTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a fantastic local walking tour of the area with our guide Jason. He met us at our hotel in the Bar Temple area, and we developed a custom tour itinerary before setting out on foot. We saw a great deal of wonderful and amazing sites within our 2 hour tour, and covered a lot of ground. Jason blended a great sense of humor with his vast knowledge of the history of Dublin. He also had great recommendations for additional sites to for us to visit on our own in the afternoon. Don't miss the opportunity to have Jsson guide you through Dublin.Posted on Google Nick LenczewskiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. He made everything very easy and fun.Posted on Google Chris FerrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I had the pleasure of spending our first full day of our European trip in Dublin with Jason and I don't know how our trip could've kicked off better. Jason was a fantastic representative of Dublin and Ireland culture. We booked an 8 hr private walking tour of Dublin that was filled with historical sites (both standard and off the beaten path places). A tour that was incredibly informative-one of the types of tours where you can't wait to see the next location and have Jason explain the history. Jason's personality (and stories) had us laughing all day - down to the last pint. Thank you Jason for the incredible day. Jill and I can't wait to come back so you can show us the rest of Ireland.Posted on Google Michael FeldmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful time with Jason. We requested a tour suitable for two couples, one that was interested in birding and another who wanted to see the sights. He took us to North Bull Island, St. Anne's Park and Howth and it was perfect for us. Jason was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable about all things Irish and his tour was the highlight of our trip.Posted on Google tiffanie jTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the pleasure of Mr Jason Neeson taking care of us (party of 3) for a private day tour to Glendalough, Wiklow and Powerscourt Estate. Absolutely enjoyable and learning experience! Full of knowledge! On the following day, Jason took us to the airport when we realised we left something in the hotel room. After reaching the airport, Jason went back to the hotel to recuperate the forgotten item and back to airport. And he declined to accept extra fare for an extra hour drive. Absolute Respect to Mr Neeson! Real gentleman with character, bring pride to Ireland!!!Posted on Google Noel KellyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
